I spoke with someone from ATI about this last week before I ordered my card. He said that the card could be broken. Hope that helps

What is the warrenty the give on the cards? i know theres a 30 day return policy but is there anything else?

It's sounds like it is retail on the faq so you should get your standard 90 day warranty. Anyone know of the tv capture capability on the All in Wonder Radeon? I want to archive all my camcorder stuff and my Ati Tv wonder couldn't do the job (at least not in compressed format or not crashing in uncompress).

I thought they only charge your card if you don't return a video card to them by a certain date.

And these cards should be just like any other retails, 5 year warranty? I think so.

AIW Radeon, well, if you can get it to work =) can do "pause Live TV" like the TIVO, and can of course capture video. I heard people have done it with the divx codec also...so pretty cool.

These cards are retail so they should come with ATI's 5 yr warranty.

Dave you have to purchase from them. You have to fax in the order then they will ship it out to you. Mine should be here tonight. UPS has it right now.

The wife just told me that my 64MB Radeon was (finally) delivered today. Faxed the order form on the afternoon of 1/19/01, received card morning of 2/7/01. Just under three weeks. Better than advertised by ATI (4-6 weeks), and squarely in the middle of the timeframe given to me by the fulfillment company, Althon Micro.

I also ordered my card in mid January. I enquired about it today. Here is the message I just got back from ATI.

"Your card will be sent next week. I will email you your tracking number the day we ship out your card."

If I wait any longer the price difference will be considerable.

I just went to a store in the Newport Mall (NJ) and they had a non-vivo card for $250.00. I couldn't help but laugh out loud in the store. This thread deserves a bump.

I just realized that Outpost.com droped the price for the Radeon 64Meg DDR to $199.

Someone said that Outpost.com is listed as an place eligible for the
$30 off It's Your Pay Day coupon. The question is, where can I get that coupon?
Outpost only shows one for the Mac version.

If I can save $30 and still get free overnight delivery, I would rather do that than
fax ATI and wait a month for a video card.

And yeah, I saw the Outpost price today, too. $15 more to have it overnight instead of in three weeks. Can't argue with that.

I just ordered one from outpost.com. Total cost after shipping and taxes.. $199.95 and will be shipped and at my house tomorrow morning around 9 am.

PLUS, he is sending out via another mail envelope the $30.00 of its your payday rebate making the total cost of this card $169.95 after rebate and all.

Gee, I sure hope this is an upgrade from my voodoo4 32 meg card...
