ati radeon 8500le or geforce 3 ti200 ?

To me, the radeon 8500le is the best value card on the market. I heard that the ati drivers are bad, but I think is getting better with each release. However, I still want to know if there are any serious problems associated with the Radeon line. ex. problems with certain games etc

Should I get a geforce 3 ti200 and overclock it instead?

Any feedbacks would be greatly apperciated

Depends what games you play... all new games run just as good if not better on the 8500LE. However if you plan on playing older DirectX7 games you can experience problems, esp with a number of flight sims. SimHQ.com actually did a review of the 8500LE and ran into probs iwth some older games.

Geforce4 Ti4200

Yeah, I want that too, but I cant afford it. I am buying the computer from the money I earned plus + student laon, which isnt much.

I have not had any problems with my Radeon 8500. However, I have only played a few games...

F22 Lightning 3 (like 3 yrs old)

It looks better and is faster than a ti200. Drivers have been coming out about every 3-4 weeks.

Out of those two cards defintely the Radeon! They no longer have "bad" drivers, ever since the 6037's came out ive had no problems and neither has the majority of people (they are up to 6071 btw).

Although I think if you can afford it the best value for money card atm is the Ti4200.
