ATI RAGE FURY PRO 32 MB 8.88 after MIR

I found this at my local OD ATI RAGE FURY PRO 32 MB AGP card for $ 8.88 ar. The Rebate is $ 30 and prints out after the receipt. I mean it is not a top notch card but for folks who are not so much into gaming its is a hot deal.

YMMV on this one. I'd recommend that you call and check their stock. It may be that they are selling off their older stock.

I just ran to my OD to get one and they told me that they were moving them out now that the Radeon line was out. The sales guy offered to see if they could order one, but they didn't even show it in the system.

I think there's a MIR from ATI for these things that expires on 1/15/02. Would make this - $20 or so. Even for that old a card, a pretty good deal (VIVO I think).

this would be a great card for non-gamers. My sister wants to build her a computer and the only game she plays is Snood, so I think this will suffice. I hope I can find one at OD.

Most of the OD's are long out of this. If you find one like apparently TheTec did, consider it an oversite on the OD employees part.

This would be a good card if you wanted to build a DVD-box to output to your home theater, since the Rage Fury Pro uses the Rage Theatre TV-out chip (the same one used in RADEONs).
