My 8800GTS is gonna be ebay'd quick if it can actually do something with those 320 stream processors. Can't wait for benchmarks to show up.
Hmmm... That's a pretty harsh judgement of the buyer... $350 for a GTX is a smokin' deal.Originally posted by: tuteja1986
I got a buyer lined up for my 2x 8800GTX. Some noob at gamespot forum.
2x 8800GTX for $700.
Now I just buy R600 and never again Crossfire or SLI. Had bad experience with both of them.

Meh, I'll wait until the next-gen nVidia card (9800?) comes out before making a comparison.
so your going to wait till Q1 2008 to make a comparison.
sooner then you think.

Gaming benches are key here. If the card can do 6AA with minimal performance hit at 1600x1200 I'll be far more impressed than if it is 20% be faster in 3dMark.
Plus those scores seem high for Geforce 8 cards - Link

Wow, I dont know what the hell stream processors do, but seeing as the GTX "only" has 128, makes this look impressive.
Might have to buy a new card soon, so hoping this is cheapish and fast.

Doubt whether current 8800GTX owners should trade their card in for R600, to be honest.
And wheres the damn games to play with your new hardware anyway?? Consoles are the future IMHO. Piracy has all but killed PC gaming.
