Well it's around a HD 4830, which is around a 8800GT. I'd still go with 4870/gtx 260 as a minimum upgrade.

Considering how current 4830s are going for $90 and then as lows as $75 AR, it seems logical that this part will take over the 4830's place. And with 4650s hitting into the $50 range, AMD could really gain a stranglehold on the budget side of things. Am I missing something, or has nVidia been getting really complacent with this portion of the market? Other than older parts finally starting to slip into comparable price points, they haven't really produced anything relatively spectacular that was meant to start in the sub $100 range in the longest time.

if i'm not mistaken, engineering sample cards tend to have more power connectors for increased stability so there's still the possibility of this maybe not needing a power connector in the final version

the added power connector is a plus for overclockers tho
even if it is not necesarry.

Judging from what we've seen of the 4750 so far, it should be about the same as crossfire 4830s except with even lower power consumption. Definitely nice for those who have CF-capable motherboards but who aren't sure if their PSU can handle two power-hungry graphics cards.

Well the 4670 already doesnt so I would figure thats possible as well.
