i hate to say it,...but i knew this was coming,...ATI did this when nvidia did SM3.0,.....and when nvidia came out with SLi(and im sure theres others but im tired and i really dont care to look),...and theres a couple things that stick out to me,...first one is,...ATI is pulling the voltage card,...while saying its not for enthusiast's,...how many enthusiasts are using "higher than industry standard" voltages on any part in thier system?,....and do those parts last more than 1,000 hours?,..of course they do ,..why?,..because they are cooled properly,....and has ATI seen the heatpipe cooler on that beast?,..its kinda hard to miss(cuz its soo damn sexay! ),...of course they see it,..they just think consumers are idiots,...and another things about availibility,....umm,..on various forums theres 7800gtx 512mb's poppin up in peoples sigs at a suprising rate,....and that speaks for itself
basically ATI is stateing thier knowledge of the enthusiast community by saying voltage shouldnt be higher than industry standard,....they completly broke thier poker face on this
