ATI vs Sapphire

Which one to take ATI Radeon9800pro 128mb retail or 128mb radeon 9800pro sapphire oem?I want to know which one is better?My relative has ordered an ATI one from California from newegg.com from the direct manufacturer(250$),can he bring it overseas without testing it and will it work fine?
Does this retail version has any games etc along with it?Which is more stable and a better performer : ATI or Sapphire?

They're essentially identical cards. You can't go wrong with either, however I would get the retail box if the price was the same. It comes with a 3 year warrantee that might come in handy later.

Pretty much the same card. I would go for whatever is cheaper or the retail box if its not to much more.

The retail BBA Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB comes with no bundled software aside from drivers/MMC.

I have personally had a ton of problems with my Sapphire 9800 pro's. I would say go with the ATI.

i would say sapphire. only problem i had with my radeon9800 is no agp texture acceleration, but that's something to do with my motherboard i heard.
edit: just get the cheaper one

Considering Sapphire follows the ATI reference design and actually make some of the ATI cards I find that very hard to believe,btw running Sapphire 9700NP (over a year now) with ATI drivers and no problems .

So to recap really no difference except for price and software bundle.

I remember a few months ago there was some news that ATI would allow streaming/sharing of video from one Radeon to another--but only if it was a Radeon made by ATI. The idea was to have a AIW on one machine share the video over a home network to another computer with an ATI-made Radeon.

Has anyone heard anything else about that? Sounds like a good reason to go ATI if all other factors are the same.

I use eazyshare with my home network. My Sapphire 8500le works fine as an eazyshare client. You do need an AIW for a server however.
