ATI x1600xt Is The Best Buy

Today I found (in Sweden) the Gecube x1600xt to be cheaper than all 6600GT 256MB.

It's in stock and everything...

And it's closer to the 6800GT in performance rather than the 6600GT!!

Is something wrong with Swedish pricing, or what? (The 6600GT is a cheap card here too...)

EDIT: I'm NOT talking about x1600 pro.

X1600XT as fast as a 6800GT.. :laugh:

Go to some review sites and tell me afterwards what the results were.
X1600XT is a failed product because not only it performs around a 6600GT performance level, a 6800GS and GT blows the XT out of the water, and its going to be replaced by R560 hence X1700 series.

Well, either way, if it costs less than a 6600gt, it's a better buy.

The 3dMark05 scores on that page really don't tell the whole story...in actual games the X1600XT trades blows with the 6600GT and gets housed by the 6800GS and GT...

The only way anyone should buy an X1600XT is if it's cheaper than a 6600GT.

IIRC, the X1600XT competes with the 6600GT and occasionally performs at 6800GT levels in some newer games. It's probably a good buy at 6600GT prices--wel, unless 256MB GTs cost an arm and a leg in Sweden--but otherwise it seems overpriced ATM (US$).
