You know its true though, regardless of my own eating habits. No longer. I ended the whole vegan thing after 3 months or so. Come christmas eve there was absolutely no food in the house for me to eat and every place was closed. I just said, aww screw it, and had cheese. WHOA! I did another crazy thing, I had fish. Insane right?

Wanna know something? Man has been eating meat for tens of thousands of years before any agrarian societies came into existence.

Before man created tools like spears, man ate fruits, just like other primates. When man hunted meat with spears, man still ate fruits and berries and nuts. Meat isn't any more natural for us to eat than grains.

I disagree with your first comment. Vegetables use FAR less resources than meat does. The biggest use of resources for food is cattle. Rice, on the other hand, produces the most nutritional value per acre.

On vegetarians in general, I agree with you. I won't push my meat heavy diet on someone and tell them it's the only way to live. If someone's a vegetarian, no problem, just don't push it on me.

Do you know how much of the food grown worldwide is used to feed the LIVESTOCK?! That's the whole point. And I disagree with your statement about the planet dying of starvation. The livestock wouldnt be consuming the food they do now, freeing up a sh!tload more for the rest of us. I am not trying to push any diet on anyone, but get your facts straight. That's all.

My mom was on LS for about 40 hours before she passed. She went in at about 140 pounds and I would bet that she weighed close to 180, maybe more.

They used an IV to pump her full of meds and she retained nearly every ounce of fluid they put in her. She was barely recognizable.

Atkins died about 10 days after the fall and was on LS for some of that time. No doubt a good bit of that weight was from the LS and the fluids they pumped into him.

Most crops are probably used to feed cows and other animals to make the meat (they eat a LOT). I think you are wrong in your assumption there. There other more important factors if the world stopped eating meat suddenly.

Millions of animals would have to be slaughtered, millions would lose jobs, food market would be changed beyond repair. Think of all the places that rely on serving meat or selling meat.
