Atlanta - Good places to eat?

I am just curious if you guys know of some good places to go eat here?

Fat Matt's Rib Shack. Good BBQ. Cheesecake factory. Get their tea, its weird but good. Theres a ton of places in Buckhead, but expensive.

True, go early if you plan to get to your prom before its over. We always went with a group (when I was at GT) and just stood around outside talking and looking for nice cars (I'm from Montana. Seeing a Hummer limo was great ;P.

It's kinda corny but cool. They have a fake boat inside. Kinda pricey but it's a fun place.

If for prom... Dante's down the Hatch (has it been rebuilt?) or the rotating place on top of the hotel (for some reason the name escapes me).

Sweet. Thanks guys. I think I am trying to decide on either The Cheesecake Factory or Fogo De Chao.

Fogo De Chao is all you can eat I think which is pretty cool.

The Cheesecake Factory looks very nice and has some very "good looking" food.

Fogo De Chao is supposed to be awesome. I know a few people that go there religiously... I haven't made it myself yet, but sooner or later I will get around to it. Daddy D'z BBQ is really good too.

I gotta agree with the other though... The Waffle is a prom tradition around here. That's where I went every year I went to prom!

I think you've got that backwards. The Waffle House to person ratio is 3:1.

Atlanta has some awesome food... I miss it often. Don't get me wrong NYC has nice food also... it's just 10x more expensive.

There are at least two hotels in downtown with rotating restaraunts. I beleive the Westin is the tallest.

the Varsity was definetly worth going to, but not for the taste of the food.

I never did go to a Waffle house when I was in Atlanta, but certainly saw enough of them.
