Atomic Wall Clock

My dad's birthday is coming up, and he's a tech gadget nut. He's been mentioning he would like an atomic wall clock. Does anyone have a recommendation as to a well made atomic wall clock? My budget is up to $200, and the primary consideration is quality and reliability. Otherwise, this will likely be placed on a kitchen wall, so things like internal/external temp, etc., are fine, provided that the clock is overall well made.

I prefer traditional round wall clocks with wood frames, like this one:

Most of these use one of only a few actual clock "movements". The primary differences are the qualify and size of the dial, hands, frame, and glass or plastic crystal/cover (mostly plastic). There are lots of choices if you search Amazon and eBay, and they'll all work pretty much equally well.

Sorry, no experience with any of the radio-controlled clocks with digital displays.

there are arduino projects out there for GPS synced digital clock. make it yourself for under $100. GPS is just as good as atomic

Well made? As was said the guts of the clock are mass produced. Just find something in a style he would like and buy it. I can guarantee you're not going to find an atomic clock that is going to become a family heirloom. When it dies, you'll throw it in the trash and buy a replacement.
