3 weeks were your symptoms. Cured.

You're welcome.
Problem now is waiting out the jet lag and 6 hour time difference to see how I really feel. I was exhausted yesterday having gotten only a few hours of sleep. Today, I slept in, but still haven't been great. Hopefully I bounce back by tomorrow with energy. Kids are home until April or longer...I need to be on my A game to keep them from tearing the house apart.

Due to the lack of testing kits, I'm wondering if I actually may have had it back in January. Had the worst flu I've ever had...fever, strained breathing, body aches...lasted 3-4 days, then had a cough for two weeks after.

Theres at least a decent chance I already had/have it as well although at least it would appear to have been a mild case. A few weeks ago I had cold symptoms including dry cough along with some tender glands in my neck. Thank goodness I'm feeling better now.

Considering I'm a dispatcher at a limo company and we were meeting flights from China/Korea 15-20 times a day all through Jan/Feb I'd say its more likely I was exposed then not. (along with everyone else in my office)

Friend is a respiratory therapist. She has Corona cases where previously healthy 30 to 50 year old people are now on respirators. This shit is nasty. There is risk of lung damage.
Nursing home in another state where my in laws grandmother lives lost someone to coronavirus. Now his grandmother is sick and they don't know what's going on.

Update: Stepmom works in hospital with about 100 cases. One of there doctors has it is in pretty bad shape.

I got home yesterday from Hawaii. I've had a cough for 3 weeks, but no other symptoms. Everyone in my office has had colds the past few months.

Anyway, my concern is that I went through a bunch of airports and on planes....now I wonder if I was exposed to it. Planes weren't exactly crowded out of Dulles, but the long flight was 70+% full.

Gonna wait out 7-14 days I guess and try to stay rested.

I'm honestly shocked there are still that many people willing to travel....

I got everything for 12 days well i got food for over 2 weeks easy but i may need more edibles. Its the only thing helping with back pain, anxiety and sleeping. Luckily $15 gets me through 10 days and i got a entire pack still unopened. Still got one kicking into high gear 2nd day its been kicking my ass, prob going to be a 3 day deal. That's what happens when you stress out so much over other stuff and just eat 130mg of it in one sitting. Its what i call the bunker buster. Any fucks i had, even discounted ones are simply sold out or just gone period

The world can burn and well i am beyond set right here Not going no where for a minute LOL. Why people wanna travel is beyond me yikes unless its them going home perhaps?

It all depends on when/where. If you're the first flight, the plane is probably freshly cleaned....there were 25 people on my last flight on an Airbus a319 for 2 hours. I mean, statistics say that's a safe flight.

The flight back from Honolulu was 10 hours on a fairly loaded 767. Higher probability there, but hard to say because of proximity and everyone was hyper aware.

This is what worries me the most. I don't understand how the virus affects healthy people severely, when reports come in saying that most cases are mild. It's like some sort of shit lottery no one wants to play. As a diabetic who only recently started to get my sugars under control, I'm super spooked right now. We're lucky in that we only have 1 confirmed case in my county, but the number is likely higher since officials have only been able to test about 35 people. I'm 99% sure my boss had it when he got back from France. He was sick but still came into the office for a whole week after his return. The following week and a half he was out sick, was in the hospital for most of the time. He was tested and came back negative, but was positive for pneumonia. No one in our office has been sick since, but a few of us do have a slight cough and mild s/t.

I was able to get tp though. About time costco started limiting purchases on various products.

Welp - talked to my health care provider today and "Based on your symptoms and medical history, this sounds most like a viral upper respiratory infection. " but no testing because I am neither high risk nor do I have a fever. But I should call back if I get a fever. So there's that...

tele doc? Welcome to my world. I get this crap about once a year and have it now. Hoping 1 round of biaxin fixes it.

One Dr said that it you haven't had it for a week then it's viral and go rest up. Over that, antibiotics. 2016, on a Wednesday, viral/go home. That Saturday, pneumonia and 9 months of effed up lungs.

This is what I was told even though me and my husband both have had low fevers for the past 4-5 days (in addition to intermittent chills, body ache, cough, congestion, etc).

It's clear they don't want to test mild cases probably due to test/PPE shortages. I can't really blame them since we both have no medical problems and are under 40. Would be nice to get an antibody test eventually so I can be totally sure if we had this MFer or not.

Did they test you for the flu?

wife's work ex-husband presumably has it and will get tested tomorrow. He is isolating in their VRBO apartment. He kept going to the office up til a couple of days ago.
I am feeling good about our situation. MY wife had cataract surgery last Monday and has been home. I have been off work for months recovering from shoulder surgery.

Saw this last night. Too true to be funny.

Eighth day of self isolation and it's like
Vegas in my house. We're losing
money by the minute, cocktails are
acceptable at any hour, and nobody
knows what time it is.

Well chat but close enough. I'm not sure I've ever had a dry cough + chest tightness before so this seems awfully coincidental.

Yeah that makes sense. Hope you guys feel better!

Just concerned that you might be more vulnerable. Hope you get better soon. PS: People are doing this for real.

Wow what a freaking idiot. She should be charged the full cost of the food and charged for domestic terrorism.
