It's weird, but starting this morning right below my shoulder blade I got this ultra-sensitive region of skin. It's sort of like the sensation of being rubbed raw or maybe even burned from excess friction, but it doesn't hurt at all. In fact, it feels really good as if a noble spirit returned my foreskin to me in my sleep but got the wrong address, and I've been playing with it all day, especially brushing my t-shirt up against it. It feels like virgin flesh. Right now I'm rubbing my back against my old abrasive swivel chair, and it feels amazing. Just took my shirt off, running my fingernails up and down my bare flesh, mmmm. In terms of coloration there is nothing unusual that I can see. Should I just enjoy this while I have it, or should I expect sudden death for experiencing what no mortal deserves?

I will second this. I have pinched nerves in my neck and when things get inflamed and they get irritated, that's more or less what it feels like (I mean I cannot really relate with the whole foreskin comment...I was circumcised at birth...) But it feels tingling for me, almost halfway numb like my foot does when it falls asleep.

I do have a habit of cracking my back, especially up and around the shoulder joints, and even more especially since I've had recent work hours that involve 12-16 hours of near-constant standing. I'm probably going to make myself into a quadriplegic one of these days. FWIW the euphoria is fairly mild this morning.
