I told the nurse practitioner about the symptoms when I went in a few weeks ago and she did the DUI like test but said that she thought it was sinuses. I do have a little drainage and the nausea is very light (haven't had it in a few days). The nausea medication that they gave me a few weeks ago had a label on the side of the bag that stated that "This medication may cause headaches"!!! ARGH...not what I really need considering that I have a huge headache!

I've suffered from migraines, and your initial symptoms sound like that, but I've never had week long pain with one.

I had my neurologist check up today, I get migraines, except when I smoke pot, my doctor basically said if it works why stop.

I would say cluster headaches, I get them every 2 years, always begin behind the right eye where it starts. Usually goes away in an hour. And it happens at the exact same time every day, usually at 2:00am in the morning which will wake you up of course. Episode lasts about 10 days or so for me and then disappear. Certain foods and especially alchohol triggers them almost immediately though.

Get some glucose/keytone urine strips from pretty much any Wal-Mart or grocery store with a pharmacy and see if anything shows up.

Antibiotics don't always work with them. Normally they clear up on their own in about 10 days.
