For the first time in 11 years I did shots.
And I wasnt flirting with the waitress either.
Been pining over a girl for better part of a year. Eventually the thought came I didnt have a chance. All of a sudden she surprises me by being the daughter of one of my gun club buddies. Shes not a member but she shoots with her dad on open nights. I tried talking to her after she was done shooting, she made it clear she was not at all interested and in fact, she seemed a little scared to be in the same room with me. Like she thought I was gonna jump her bones right there in front of 20 witnesses.
So, for the first time in my life I used alcohol to cure my worries.
It did not work. And reminded me why I quit drinking back in 2000.
Now I go to bed.

Horrible night of bowling. Did a 160, a 144 (I think). Got pissed off and got some IPA from the bar and threw a 268 in my last game (strike, spare, spare, struck out).
What a crappy way to shoot under 600.
