Greetings
Over the past week or so you may have been flooded with mail telling you to write to Fox to keep rugby on the Fox Soccer Channel.
However, the decision is a done deal on Fox Soccer Channel according to the producer (Pat Guthrie). HOWEVER, there is something you can do to get rugby back on television in North America.
Please go to http://www.therugbychannel.com/ and in the words of Mr. Guthrie:
"If you love rugby and would like to assist in the development of a 24-hour rugby channel in North America, please take five minutes and complete the following survey. The main obstacle in launching the channel is the perception that the rugby audience is too small to support its own TV network. If we receive more than 35,000 positive responses to the first question below, we will be well on our way to demonstrating that the demand is sufficient to move forward with a rugby channel."
This is not someone thinking this is the best way to succeed - this is from a person in a position to know and to influence. Therefore I ask that you send this mail far and wide - lets get those 35,000 responses in less than a week.
