Someone is definitely scripting. I submitted 3000 votes and it only bumped you up .5%
I believe this script should work but someone correct me if I'm wrong. All it really counts are requests specifying an option id.

Go to the voting page and execute the following in a javascript shell (like the firebug console):
var counter = 0;
var f = function(){counter++; ajax.sendRequest("/cc-common/polling_tool/insertPoll.php?poll_id=97747&redirect=/pages/syhuploadscript/syh2008-vote.html&optionID=473631", "GET", true); if (counter< 1000)setTimeout("f();",10);}

Or just throw this into the location bar (make sure it's one line):
