The only honda/acura i would drive would be a new accord coupe v6 w/ 6spd, '92-'95 honda prelude si vtec 5spd, and acura nsx.

Other than that, I really don't like honda/acura too much. Just personal opinion, not saying they're bad cars.

You left out the 99-00 Civic Si, Integra GSR/Type-R and RSX Type-S

EDIT: Actually the Sedan and Coupe are about equivalent performance wise. They are similar in size and weight. The only real difference is the 6-speed.

Honda Fanboi's unite! Skoorb made one for the Nissans - I figure why not make one for the Honda/Acura's of ATOT

I need you to do one of the two:

1) PM me with the description of your car, (year, model, trim level) picture, (if available) and modifications (if any)

OR

2) Post that info in this thread

I'll host your picture if you need to.

Forgot to add my own in:

2004 Honda Accord LX AT Sedan - metallica interior, Alpine Type-S 6.5, Dynamat Xtreme for front doors, TL 20mm rear sway bar

2004 Honda Accord LX AT Sedan - dads - bone stock
Oh yeah, just so I get to be on the fanboy page...

2000 Honda S2000 - Muz floor mats and shift knob, Corbeau CR1 seats in red (originals of those three got stolen), Clarion DXZ735mp deck, Autotek SX4160 amp, JL Audio 300/4 amp, Arc Audio MX3 crossover, Adire Audio Brahma subwoofer, Adire Audio Koda6 midbass, Morel MR55 midrange, Focal TN45 tweeter

My next car is gonna be the S2000's beater bitch so there's a good chance it might be a Honda Civic. Unfortunately, their resale value is so good. If I continue to hear nothing but good reviews about the Escort (Link), I may end up going with that instead.

Booo! We all know Civic hatches can swallow anything. My cousin used to deliver 80 gallon fish tanks and stands in his '90.

lol I forgot about this page I have the overall layout up, it's just converting everything...I'll get around to it sooner or later

boomdart - like NB said, the 7th gen sedans are almost identical to the coupes in terms of size and weight (literally only less than a 100lb difference) The only difference right now is the sedan is not available in manual for V6's. It's hardly "Much slower".

The 4 banger is pretty swift for a 4 - in manual form it's pretty much neck and neck if not a lil bit slower than the 6th gen V6.

b0mbrman, you should just look into an Accord. Somehow they end up being cheaper then comparable Civics. Won't get quite the mileage tho.

The sedan has it's angles but once it's lowered and you have some rims on it, it looks pretty good. The coupe in stock form does look better though and has a better aftermarket for exterior accessories. I agree w/ NB - although they are more expensive (I don't know how it's cheaper) they are a better overall value IMO. My aunt was never happy with her Civic and bought a 02 Accord to replace it.

Bleh, 03 Accords aren't cheap enough yet. If you're good at negotiating a new one might be cheaper than a used one

Yeah, that's crazy.

I'm also looking at used Accords

However, bear in mind that I'm in central Texas and there aren't as many used imports as there were when I was in California...Now, if I wanted a used pickup, I could take my pick from thousands

Auto Trader isn't showing me many results w/in 200 miles of zip 76522. Then again, I'm limiting the search to something under 100k miles as I'll likely put on 50k of my own within the next few years...

98 Acura Integra GSR one non at fault accident, stolen twice and found crashed
Milano Red Exterior fading paint, stopped washing after second theft
Black Leather Interior i don't wash the car, you think i condition the leather?
Cracked Windshield tried washing car on a hot day
i paid $19,600 out the door for this POS. if i waited 6 years and paid an extra $12,000, i could've bought a mitsubishi lancer evo!

Mods:
AEM CAI makes big noise
RSR Catback Exhaust makes little noise, no coffee can
Koni Yellow Struts, Neuspeed Spec struts work much better than OEM
Eibach Sportlines spring rates are too low, need new springs
ITR Rear Sway Bar helps fat ass come out easier, reduces body roll
OEM Body Kit aesthetically pleasing
15" Rota Attack Rims in Bronze they're lighter than OEM rims
Power Steering Belt Removed better road response, builds muscles!
Tar/Sound Deadener Removed removed ~20lbs of weight, but damn car is too loud
Tinted Windows keeps out unwanted eyes
Cheap Alarm fvcking sensors broke and it goes off when a car drives by

1/4 mile time:
07/03/02 - my first time at the track with only the AEM CAI, i made 11 runs and 15.23 @ 92mph was my best. i'd go back after my mods, but i wore the clutch down and i can't afford a new one yet.

i treat my car no worse than i do your mom. honestly though, after two thefts and shoddy work at the body shops, i really don't care too much for the car. btw, what do you mean by saying i can't drive for shit?

Yeah, and if you'd bought a high-yield CD, you could have gotten the Evo using the same money...but then you'd have been taking the bus for 6 years...

And yes...I'm sure you bought the bronze rims because they're lighter than stock

Well, not washing it and not treating the leather count as "beating" to me. As far as the driving comment; that's my bad as I overestimated the performance of a GS-R.

i was just joking about the evo, i don't think i ever want to buy a new car again. within the first year my car had a salvaged title, my car was stolen and i was rear ended. value of my car dropped like a mofo, and i don't want to experience that again with theft or some idiot driver.

as for the bronze rims, my OEM rims were stolen, so i had to buy new ones

Actually, its amusing to me that my mom's current car, '01 Camry, doesn't get very well taken care of while the car she had before that, the Accord in the sig, was much better taken care of. Doesn't make any sense at all.
