Actually she wanted a TL instead but two things stopped her; dad got a great deal on the Camry and the TL won't fit in the garage. Rats, and to think, it would have been a type-s since neither of them likes autos.

'87 prelude sitting in my driveway. 254,000 miles, terrible exhaust leak (hope to fix it in the next couple weeks) and a semi-coffee can exhaust (catback installed by previous owner, luckily it's not one of the loud fart exhausts!). Picked this up for $200. Runs fine, but for my performance dollar, I'll stick to my GSXR 1000 in the garage! No amount of money could make my little prelude go that fast... well, at least no amount of money I'll ever have!

reporting back after having my Brightstar HID kit installed. Here's what I wrote from hotdeals:

Pictures of Brightstar 5000k HID kit on a 2003 Honda Accord coupe

just installed my Brightstar (5000k) kit at a carshop here in Houston (Carboy). Cost $60 as it was about 1 hour of labor.

Installation went pretty easily, the mounting brackets for the ballasts allowed pretty easy mounting onto the frame of my 03 Accord coupe (ballasts were mounted in right on the inside of the fender using the brackets, above the light bulbs). They zip tied the igniter to the the AC hose and it's held up pretty well there. Initially it looks as if the passenger headlight is really blue and the other is white, but I noticed that the blue started fading down to white. It's not night time yet so I'll find out in a few hours how well they match. Will report back with a full review then.

edit: Just drove around at night time and the light colors have evened out to a nice pure white light on both sides. So far I'm very impressed with the kit. The light output is much more intense than halogen even though a projector headlight would make it look much nicer. Still, the light output is very nice and the lights just look great overall! The true test will be longevity of these parts, but for now, I'm very very happy. Thanks importhookup!!

Here's my car

2004 Acura TSX Premium White Pearl

pic

More info can be found here

I don't think you'd be sorry if you got the TL. There's a bunch of people on the TSX forums who wish they had waited another year and gotten the TL. Not to say the TSX is a bad car because it's not in the least bit - for a small amount more you get a faster, overall better car.

Hmm.. at what forums is this? I've never heard a TSX owner want a TL, we picked our car because its lighter and handles better, plus the sportier looks. I'd love V6 power, but I'd take the TSX any day.

There weren't power seat belts past 1991 since they started installing airbags

There is no page yet; OP dropped the ball on this one

Totally forgot about this thread! Here's my steaming crock of white rice contribution:

1990 Honda Civic Hatchback SI

So far i've got:

Work RS Deltas
Ground Control Coilovers
KYB AGX shocks
C-pillar bar

Not much done on this thing, but i do not plan on doing any engine work anytime soon. It costs too much to make this car relatively quick, whereas i'm fine with the aesthetics of the thing. I've only been driving stick for a year and so i realize that even if i did upgrade the engine, i wouldn't be able to use it to its full potential. So that would make me what, the ultimate ricer?

Nah, you'd need to add multiple wings (lid and lip) altezzas, and a really ugly body kit. Also, you actually replaced suspension components instead of just cutting your springs like a proper Riceboy.

AEB, both of my older Accords (92 & 95) have Alpine CD head units. Same story as you on the "clockwork reliability".

I too was against Hondas but my 92 helped save my financial a$$ by being reliable and cost effective over the years. Prior to it I owned a couple of BMW's and they tore my savings and checkbook all to he!!. I can only hope that my wife?s CRV doesn?t decide to torch itself and my new TL stays reliable when the years start to pile up on it.

If anyone wants to take over the page from me, be my guest - I just don't really have much time for it anymore unfortunately. I got around to coding the framework and then stopped
