Soon to be either a 2005 TSX or 2005 TL, I would get Navi and 6MT for either one.

I can definitely afford the TSX, I'm just not sure if I can afford the TL. What to do?1?!

TL is only about $5K more for the same stuff. That's like $15 a month extra in payments.

I don't think you'd be sorry if you got the TL. There's a bunch of people on the TSX forums who wish they had waited another year and gotten the TL. Not to say the TSX is a bad car because it's not in the least bit - for a small amount more you get a faster, overall better car.
Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Acura should either raise the price of the TL (noooo!!!) or lower the price of the TSX (good!!). They are too close in price for their differences in amenities and motors.

If they lower the price of the TSX its too close to the Accord. Really, the TL is a real steal.

As it is, the TSX is too close to the price of the Accord. Top of the line auto TSX w/ navi is only $2k more than a top of the line Accord I4 with Navi. (The TSX w/ no navi is the same price)

Actually now that I look at it - a base TL, auto, no navi runs about $32.9 msrp, so that is a sizeable difference. Add in Navi at another $2k and there is a larger difference than what I had thought. oops.

I've got an '01 Accord V6 w/ Leather and she's spotlessly clean cause I just finished washing her. Got virtually every option except the heated seats. I just can't seem to justify them even in the winter here in Georgia.

Ahh ok. Might want to add a 04 Acura TL Type-S 20mm rear sway bar - everyone over at V6p.net has that or the Comptech and says it makes the Accord 100x more fun to drive and makes the handling the way it should have been from factory. Mine got in yesterday so I'm gonna put it on this weekend. Only about $55 shipped out. (You're also screwed more in the handling department than us 4 bangers - the V6 has a 13mm rear sway compared to the 14mm on the I4's)

when did they start making a 04 TL type S? I know a Spec A is on its way but no mention of another Type S.

BTW the 04 TL 6 speed is very nice and I can get one at about invoice but I am going to wait for the 05 G35 Sedan instead.
RWD vs FWD may not be a consideration for many but both my 95 and 02 maximas have horrendous torque steer and it was nice to drive a car hard without having to worry about holding on tight just to keep going staight!

Err that's what it's commonly called on the V6p forums, but you're right - there technically isn't a type-s.

Page is getting there, I'm still messing around with the layout and such. It's not overly complicated, just want it to look decent.

It is the rear sway from the 04 TL 6MT, it has own distinct part separate from the autos. That car has the biggest front and rear OE sway bars for the accord/tl/cl/tsx platform.

1993 Honda Accord Sedan Special Edition
1994 Honda Accord Sedan EX-V6
2000 Honda Accord Sedan LX

however, my next car won't be a Honda, unless i can get some used Acura NSX for around $30-35K. otherwise, i'd rather get a new Lexus GS as my sole car

Brightstar plug n' play kit HID's just delivered and soon to be installed. I haven't heard anything bad about the kit and the guys at importhookup.com do a good job of providing customer support. Their site provides a lot of info about the manufacturing of these kits, so I decided to take a chance on them over Phillips/Hella.

I'm sure the beam pattern won't be as nice as a real HID projector rigged into my headlight but that's just too much damn effort Got the kit for about $370. If anyone's interested, I can post pictures when I'm done installing, hopefully they'll look decent with my headlight design. My friend put a Phillips plug n' play kit in his Prelude and it looked great (before one of the bulbs blew out), so I'm hoping for the best.

Nice HID's Neuro! I'm still waiting on a decent set to come out for the 7th Gen Accords :| The ones on eBay and such right now are the seriously crapified McCulloch or other really cheap sets.

The new accords are pretty fast in the coupe v6 trim; otherwise they're slow...yes, even the 4-door v6 is much slower than its coupe brother.

The only honda/acura i would drive would be a new accord coupe v6 w/ 6spd, '92-'95 honda prelude si vtec 5spd, and acura nsx.

Other than that, I really don't like honda/acura too much. Just personal opinion, not saying they're bad cars.
