A. Yes there is, HERE, A very simple to use program, find what u want to edit, export as a TGA and edit then import, make sure you have the item u want to replace selected

Q. How do u make your own skins or get new ones?
A. You can change the appearance of the main character by creating a 256 x 256 bitmap file divided into six panels, each corresponding to a different section of the body. Not only do you see the skin during game play, but in cut scenes as well (You can find an example or one to edit in your GTAIII/Skins Folder ). HERE ARE A FEW SKINS I FOUND: List Of Skins ~~~With the skins right click--> Save as and save them to your GTAIII\Skins folder, or download the file Allskins.rar for all the skins. If you want to know what one looks like in 3d look at the name of the file and go here, and locate the name of the one u are wondering about, and look at the file called NAMEfront, and NAMEback for preveiws.
Q. Is there a Demo for the PC for GTA3 Yet?
A. No and there probably wont be...
Q. How do you record those replays?
A. Simply Press the F1 Key and you should get a 30 second replay (Press, F2 to record your last 30 seconds, and then go into your GTA3 save folder, usually My Documents/GTA3 user files, and find the file called replay.rep, you can then send it to your freinds {for them to watch it they must place it into their GTA3 save folder, and press F3 to Watch it during a game.}).
Q. Is it better than the GTA3 for the PS2? If so, in what aspects is it better?
A. Yes! More Gore, Better Controls (KB and mouse rock in this game), A few extra missions that my friend said PS2 didn?t have (NOT YET CONFIMED FOR SURE), BETTER GRAPHICS, The ability to edit the cars and your skins, The future ability to make your own levels , and Possible FUTURE MULTIPLAYER.
Q. How Do I adjust the mouse sensitivity?
A. Go under Options-->Controller Setup-->Mouse Settings and you should see a mouse sensitivity bar.
Q. Where do I put my own MP3's at to have them play in the game?
A. They go into the GTAIII\MP3 Folder.
Q. If I set it up to use my own MP3's, would the MP3's play even when you're not in a car?
A. No they only play when you select the Radio station to play them (IN CAR ONLY!).
Q. My Game doesnt Run correctly, and it randomly crashes , How Can I Fix This??
A. One thing you could try is to download the No-CD Patch HERE, And place your CD-2 Files into your GTAIII DIR.
This is not a 100% guaranteed solution, But its likely to work.
Q. When I load my game it goes to the Rockstar Games Cut Scene, then crashes and has the general program caused error message, Can this be fixed?
A. You Can try deleting the intro cutscenes or move them out of the folder, Again This is not 100% guaranteed, but it should work. They are located in your GTAIII\movies folder
Q. What is a good affordable gamepad to use?
A. Personally I perfer just the KB and mouse, Takes a while to get used to but works really good. PS Adapter, You could get a PS adapter and get a PS2 Controller and that works good, and its a fairly cheap solution. Just make sure you purchase something that is comfortable in your hands as you will be playing this game alot .

A. Yes there is a trainer out, It sometimes causes your game to crash so make sure you save it first. Also you just have to place it on your desktop. Q. The game seems to run decent but my charactor always has this weird looking shadow following him, like a blurry image in the cut scenes, how can i fix this?)
A. You can go under the video options and turn off trails, This should fix it Also you can turn this off in general if it runs slow on your system (only do this if your game is laggin, as alot of people say this drastically takes away the detail, I think it makes it look better though, IMHO).
Q. The Game Runs Slow on My system. I have a, 3 Ghz Processor, 1 GB of Ram, GF4 Ti 4600, How can I make it run better?
A. Right now from what I have seen, It really doesnt matter what kind of system you have. This game is just being picky with what it runs on (ATI and AMD espessically). If you have tried everything listed in this Faq and it still doesnt work wait for the Patch to come out and everyones (hopefully) problems will be fixed.

Q. What's a fast car to pass the Diablo street race mission with?
A. YOu need a fast car with good handling, Try the Police car or the Taxi, both seem to work well. Also alot of people like the Patriot (Hummer) because it takes a licking and keeps on ticking , plus its pretty fast to boot. (BE SURE to read the Vehicle Mini Faq for a way to get a Bullet Proof CHEETAH from this mission).
Q. I can't change my resolution, how can i change it?
A. The resolution can only be changed before you start your game. (I.E. Starting a new game, or loading one).
Q. My Resolution still doesn't change properly, What am i doing wrong?
A. Go into the video setup and locate the resolution option. Put your cursor over the text of the resolution and use your mouse scroll wheel to change it. When you get it on the resolution you want, DONT MOVE YOUR MOUSE OFF OF IT, click the Left Mouse button to set that resolution.
Q. When does the nude patch (a la sims) come out?
A. Put down the mouse and slowly step away from the computer. Seriously, We dont know yet. When someone decides they want to make one :-/.
Q. How do I progress to the other islands in the game? I cant get to the other ones I am stuck on Portland.
A. Do missions for people, They should show up as a blue letter on the screen (like J, R, T, etc..). After your complete certain missions the next city will open up, they will complete the bridge, and tunnel etc... You will know when this is done by a beeper coming up on the screen and telling you. You can then move on or stay and complete the rest of the missions in your current city (be careful though some people will have you kill others, Make sure you have completed all that persons missions first.)
Q. If you go into the water in a car is there anyway to live? My person just dies
A. Nope, once you go into the water your screwed.
Q. If a car flips over and skids on its roof for a long ways it catches fire. Is there a way to get out faster?
A. No, your guy doesnt seem to like jumping from moving vehicles, you just have to hope u can get out quick. Also, its not only if it skids for a long time, but anytime your vehicle gets upside down it catches on fire and blows up.
Q. I was playing and my game crashed. I forgot to save it though. Is there anyway I can start with the last mission completed?
A. No there is not, All I can say is save early save often!
Q. I want to send my freind my save file, but I can't seem to locate it. Where is it at?
A. The save files are located in My Documents\GTA3 User Files, the save files will be called GTA3sf#.b, Where the # equals the slot number it is located in.

A. You probally have a controller connected that is not callibrated, Unplug it or calibrate it in windows.
Q. How Do I do a drive by?
A. However you look right or left while driving, do that, then press the fire button - only works with an uzi.
Q. If I'm in vigilante mode, how do I stop the criminials (high lighted car)? I keep on hitting it but nothing happens.
A. Do a drive by and shot the car till it blows up or cut it off, and get out really quick and blow it up, or steal the car from the person, get out and kill them.
Q. How do I get the BF Injection car?
A. You have to go to the park where the Diablo Stallion Phone booth is, between like 1600 & 2100 and it should appear. Im not certain on the hours so if anyone knows for sure lmk.
Q. Wheres this Ghost Town that everybody keeps mentioning on other boards?

Q. How does one fly a car or tank?
Enter the ChittyChittyBB Cheat, That will give the cars dodo like physics. Then you try to fly the cars just like the dodo.
Q. How can I moddify the handling Config file to make the dodo fly better?
