If you want vintage, warm sound and have reasonably easy to drive loudspeakers a valve amp is nice.

If you want power, oh gobs of power and efficiency with accuracy of dead balls accuracy - the digital amp is the way to go. Digam-Powersoft has 30kW in a 1U package if you have the shore power available.
