I can't believe you Canadians cannot get those truckers off your streets. If they were liberals they would be beating them and shooting them, but redneck conservatives and they act like they can't do anything. Sad. Are you trying to tell me that there are not tow trucks and jail cells that can take care of this?
All the tow truck drivers refuse, they would never work against their own. Heavy tow truck drivers are basically truckers themselves.
It's been entertaining watching everything really. It comes to show that if the people come together we can overpower the government. They are slowly starting to drop mandates too so the movement is doing progress.
I think at this point the truckers need to leave, give the government a few weeks to drop mandates, then come up with another plan if they don't though, since someone is going to get hurt either physically or financially. There's lot of talk about some very hash things like sending swat teams, taking their children way etc... It's not worth staying when that potential threat is in the air.
It's not just the vaccine they're fighting against it's the entire narrative. The rolling lock downs, needing 2 forms of ID to go most places, forcing masks on children, not allowing to visit dying family etc... Nobody is endangering anyone, assuming the vaccine works. I'm vaccinated, I could not care less if my goods are delivered by a trucker that's vaccinated or not. Truckers hardly interact with people anyway, they are not a threat.Or...or...bear with me here - this may sound crazy... The 1% fat trucker babies who are so afraid of a shot that they are willing to endanger the other 99% of society and throw a temper tantrum locking up trade could just get the f'n vaccination. Now doesn't that seem a fair bit easier and less destructive? Maybe we should just treat them like babies and hold them down.
