Since my work PC is still here at home decided to check if my T4 is available. It finally is!

I just sent it to my email so I can print it out. I can finally get my taxes done now.

Just bought some silver for the first time. I want to start stashing more cash, silver, gold, maybe crypto as well. Going to have to setup a hidden safe somewhere.

The whole bank account freeze thing made me lose trust in the system, I want to have a physical financial backup in case I ever get hit with that. The government backtracked on all that though but the trust is still lost. They are in panic mode right now since lot of people have been cashing out.

I wonder if I have ADD sometimes. I went outside to measure the size of my truck battery since I need a new one and figured I'd check Canadian Tire for them to see if any are in stock locally so I can go tomorrow. Once I got outside I ended up shoveling the whole driveway and came back inside and I don't know the dimensions of my battery. Hey, at least the driveway is done now! I don't have to do it tomorrow.

Dropped off my tax papers today. Kinda looking forward to see what the damage report is. Took out like 25k of stocks last year so that's going to be a big capital gains hit... I hope it won't be TOO bad though. If not I will take out another big chunk this year.

I somehow managed to make 90k last year, no idea how that happened. Worked more stats than usual and did get OT too but didn't think it would make that big a difference. It sure does not feel like I made that much lol. Did buy my property and lot of supplies for it though... so guess that's where lot of the money went.

Well, shop closed for now, so it's not even possible . Maybe later in nuclear winter?
Last thing I ordered there took 6+ weeks to arrive - most of it stuck awaiting processing in Chicago for a month.
