I don't think that will work. China imports most of their oil. Saudi just needs to turn on their tap. Plus crudes have distinct compositions.

Actually I probably should get one of those. When I'm working on my property I'll probably find myself wanting to do most of the work at night when it cools off. That's assuming I'm not being eaten alive by mosquitoes though...

I bought a shitty Skywolfeye headlamp. One of the plastic pieces broke and the battery compartment sucks, but the floodlight is wonderful in lighting up the night.
They don't make it the way they did when I bought it.

This is the way. Bought a black diamond headlamp like 9 years ago for my first backpacking trip. Upgraded it a couple years ago and that one sits in my kitchen junk drawer and comes in handy for tasks around the condo and in the building's basement storage area. Super useful tool.

Olight. Turn night into day. Waterproof to 6 feet. Shock proof to 10 feet. 1200 lumens (also 600, 300 and strobe). Throws light six football fields in length. Rechargeable (18650 x 3) via microUSB. Wish it was Type C, but I keep a microUSB cable in my car and in my travel bag. Was leery of spending $100 on a flashlight. Totally worth it.

Back to work tomorrow. Had a nice stretch but felt so lazy so did not really do much. I'm tempted to blame covid but I think I'm just lazy.

Did get some stuff done though. Lot of server related stuff that I had been putting off. So I still feel somewhat accomplished.

Sometimes it's good to just take it easy.

I decided to move DNS for one of my domains over to the dedicated server. It was causing weird issues with email since it was hosted on the shared host so the shared host was not delivering mail from that domain as it thought it was responsible for mail for that domain. Or something like that.

That was the fastest DNS propagation ever. Literally like a minute.

And my test emails are coming through now... looks like this in fact fixed it.

I need to write a python script to automate web server stuff though. I want to eventually move my stuff back from the shared host again but it sucks having to setup everything by hand. I'm thinking some kind of interactive script where I can list domains, edit stuff, add mailboxes etc.. all through an interactive command line. Either that or a web interface, but command line is easier to code. Basically the gravy is to have it generate all the config files properly.
