Drywall done on main server room wall. Both sides, and it's insulated. Will do rest another time as I need to refocus on wood stove now. This was more of a side project that had to be done anyway. Now I can stack wood and other stuff against that wall without needing to move it later. I'll do the plastering at some other point probably when I do the whole basement.

Still have lot of work to do but getting there. Need to finish the opening where the pipe goes outside, move wood stove to where it goes, buy and install stove pipe, then do heat shields on walls and ceiling, and the outside chimney. Really hoping to get this done before Christmas. Would be nice to get it going for the coldest part of winter which is January and February.

Started stacking firewood indoors on my lunch break. Probably going to want to come up with a more efficient system but for now just putting a bunch of wood in a box and bringing it in that way and doing trips. Good workout. I got maybe half way through the pile before having to go back to work.

Going to be nice to see that pile outside be gone though. I didn't really mean for it to stay in front of the house that long but really wanted to get that wall done before I bring it in.

Just be sure there aren't any termites or other wood-boring insects!

Yeah that worries me a bit... hopefully there's nothing like that. We don't have termites here but we do have carpenter ants from what I heard.

I think long term I will want to build a screened enclosure I can put my wood in and just bring a little bit at a time. I just wanted this wood inside since it was in front of the house. I never ended up building my solar awning, that is going to be my designated firewood storage area since I will need to make a trail to clear solar panels anyway so every time I do that I would just get a handful of logs.

All stacked now.

Managed to get it to fit nicely there, it's a little under a face cord worth. (drywall seam is 4 ft so if it hit the line it would be a face cord)

Lol cat was super fixated on one area and I realized there was a fly. Guessing it came from the firewood. I'll probably be dealing with that for next little while, at least the cats will take care of whatever makes it upstairs.

Replaced my catalytic converter on Sunday. Took me about 6 hours. Probably would have been 3 hours, but I couldn't get the last fastener off one of the mounting braces. It was still cool to say that I've done this. Used my powered ratchet for the first time. Broke out my high torque impact.

Unfortunately, I couldn't break free one of the exhaust flange nuts. Didn't want to use the high torque impact to "force" it off, possibly stripping or snapping the bolt. So, I was able to use my shorter 1/2" breaker bar to break the nut and finish it using the mid torque impact.

I used my 3/8" drive torque wrench to set the torque (in ft/lbs) for the nuts fastening the converter to the exhaust manifold. When I was testing it out, there was some smoke coming from the hood. Concerned, I went to check it out, as I didn't want a fire. By the time I got out to look, the smoke had ceased and there was this "smell". The catalytic converter claimed no break-in required. There still must have been some residue that needed to burn off when first started.

My only complaint on the part, the mounting holes for the upper heat shield don't line up. After spending a half hour trying to reinstall it, I finally decided that I could only hook up three (there were four) no matter how hard I pushed the shield in any direction. As for the lower heat shield, there was only one mounting hole for it. The lower heat shield has four mounting holes.

Going to take off the front wheels tomorrow and break out my grease gun on the grease fittings on the sway bar end links. I can access the lower fittings by turning the wheel in or out. To get to the top fittings, I need to take off the wheels. Fun stuff.

All these outages have really reduced the amount of posting - myself included. Maybe @bigboxes is right and this is Future’s master plan to kill off ATF.
