Can't quite settle a flashlight against the back, but what I can of produces a razor sharp cutoff on the wall.
Also, I can see through them to pick out details on my computer.
Ah good idea. I'm probably going to have a friend help me remove the bumper and headlights. I should be able to the rest. If anything I have my gf to lend a hand.
Holy shit. Good idea: My next set of projectors:

The easy part, to me, is removal of the bumper and headlights. I do have a lot of tools here, a laptop to carry the DIY from G35Driver on, and plenty of free time.
The more difficult part will be mounting them into the headlights. I could actually take my car offline and tear everything apart, I have a spare car for the weekend... then use temporary passes all week next week. But no.
The easy part is mounting the projectors for me. The hard part is getting the headlights off and getting the lens off.
Have you polished your headlight lens clear? I need to do that.
Don't ever clean the inside edge of the headlight lens, by the way.
And, um... I bought the car in early September, the dealership polished the lenses, since then, I've washed it three times, added two coats of sealant, and three coats of wax. The lenses are nearly immaculate, except a little internal scorching from the aging bulbs.
Oh right. I need to make mine clear and seal them. What sealant do you use?
Inside edge? The part the holds on to the headlight housing?
Why?
For one, if your headlights are not already in very good exterior condition, you may need to buy a headlight restoration kit, such as what 3M sells. Mine were already in excellent shape, so all I need to do is maintain them - wash off the dirt and grime. Sealant and wax are the same ones I use for the whole car body, Blackfire Wet Diamond and Poorboy's Natty Blue. Buff off with microfiber.
The headlight outer lens has two faces, obviously. The outer face that gets subjected to road debris, and the inner face that looks at the light bulbs. That's what I called the inside edge. The inside face of the headlight lens has a UV coating on it, so if you clean it, you'll start to peel the coating, and scratch it up, leaving marks. Nothing can clean it, not even the softest of microfibers. When you pull it off the car, put it somewhere safe where dust can't get at it.
ATOT has got more hot wimmenz than you have spermz.
Damn it! My nav system was delivered to my parent's house. Well my dad said it would cost about $40 to have it shipped here Looks like I'll be waiting
