There’s a rumbling noise. It’s intermittent like a wallflame with an eccentric wheel on its controller. Sorry that’s the only way I can describe it at the moment. I know here (or more appropriately, when) this isn’t possible. I’m following in the general direction of where it’s coming from. I can see a brightness change and judging by the color it’s definitely a firing or fire of some sort.



Boom! Found it! Holy cow! The opening, a slot which from this distance of view, approximately 350 meters or so would appear perhaps 45x45 centimeters square is releasing what appears to be fireballs. They are traveling at what seems to be an artificially modified rate of speed to augment their effectiveness on fleshy lifeforms. This appears to be a defense mechanism of sorts and I don’t believe my presence would have triggered this. I cannot see where they are striking the other side of the wall. The distance is probably over ½ kilometer to the barrier of termination.



The ball diameter would appear to be approximately 60 centimeters and they are perfect spheres unaffected by the atmospheric impingement. This could be due to the different atmosphere as well as lower Lewis numbers due to lower gravity here.



The energy definitely appears to be from combustion of hydrocarbons and recording of spectral emission has commenced for review in the future. There is absolutely no visible smoke or trailing which is surprising due to the lower Kelvin temperature.



I would love to get closer to see the mechanism that’s generating this pulse. I can hear a distinct chuff just before its appearance and subsequent launch.. The technology used is way out of touch for the edifice architecture. At least 100,000 Earth years.
