I turned 21 this year so that means I can gamble legally in card rooms and casinos. Doing research online, I found a couple cardrooms in my local area that offer no-limit games with a blind structure of 1-1-2 or 10-10-20...

Having played online/home games, i have no idea how to understand these structures... any clue?

small-big-rake ???

no clue

Usually called a time payment, some cardrooms do this instead of raking the pot. The button payment isn't a part of the pot, it's the cardrooms profit.

Where do you play?

It's pushed into the pot where I play.

I can't remember where I saw this, but it definitely wasn't part of the pot. This cardroom didn't rake the pot, they took time payments from the button, equal to the SB. Since most raked cardrooms limit the amount that is raked from each pot, if the cardroom has more high limit games, they can make more money. There's a small blurb on this practice in WLLHE by Lee Jones.

Never seen a 3 number system like that before.

10-10-20...interesting.

I just know that in Limit games, like $2/$4...the first 2 rounds of betting go in increments of $2 and the last 2 rounds go in increments of $4.
