Well, mailing my gift off tomorrow. The distance it is traveling would be about a 2 hour drive or so. It should get there tomorrow or the 25th. Although im cheap, since I waited so long, Ill spring for the extra shipping.

The 25th is Christmas, it will not be delivered on Christmas

What about next year people who know they wont be around xmas week state that in the emails? I dont think there is anything wrong with getting mine as close to xmas as possible but I also will be home all week so it wouldnt matter if it came late. If my pal needed his/hers a week or so earlier I would have liked to have known that.
