What about next year people who know they wont be around xmas week state that in the emails? I dont think there is anything wrong with getting mine as close to xmas as possible but I also will be home all week so it wouldnt matter if it came late. If my pal needed his/hers a week or so earlier I would have liked to have known that.

Isnt the whole point of a SS gettting a gift before christmas?

Sure...im saying if it comes late for me its not that big of a deal. My SS got his gift and I havent. Im ok with that. If my SS was leaving this week for an extended period of time I would have liked to have known that in order to accomodate him/her. Some people got them the 1st week of december. I know some people didnt like that happening. I dont care when it comes as long as it comes.

You ever get presents after xmas? It doesnt suck.

I'm packed and just about ready to leave NC for the mountain trek to my parent's house for Christmas. I won't be back until Monday.

<sigh> No sign of the great pumpkin, er, I mean, the secret santa. Either it was on my porch and someone took it or it is on the way to my house. :frown:

Well, it looks like I won't be getting anything till after Chritsmas (I hope) and my SS looks like they got their stuff. I'm still happy and I plan to do this again next year. Hope everybody has a happy holiday!
