I was going to sell it but I think it would be much cooler to destroying it on launch day and put it on youtube. I would give credit to all who donated

One thing is certain, your chances of making a huge profit are far less than that of Apple's.

about as much chance as all those suckers did who bought PS3's for $600, tried selling them for more, and wound up with a huge credit card bill and a bunch of overpriced PS3's filling their closet?

So 50,000 idiots pre-ordered iPads hoping to flip them for a profit after release, and you got in line like a lemming? Uh... $200 profit, easy.

Keep it and wait until it sells out and goes on backorder. You could probably sell it then for a decent profit.

Like none. They're taking preorders, usually something a company does to ensure they will meet demand at launch.

I wish I was smarter back when the Wiis were released. I was working at a store that had them for sale and I was working that morning. I could have easily bought a couple before the other customers even got in the store. If I remember correctly, I probably could have made some good money off them.

On a small scale, you'd never be able to do it.

However, as a joke perhaps, if Microsoft were to "invest" in every single ipad, that is, buy the entire shipment including sending temp workers to every apple store to buy them across the country.

Then setup a www.microsoft/appleipad for example, and resell all of them at a profit. It would be the ultimate irony. Or even better, load a microsoft OS on them.

Dude, this is simple. Find someone to buy it for 100 million then retire. But you better get busy now and don't take the time to post again till you make the sale. You'll need to concentrate on that.

Get a friend with a camera and go to an Apple store with the ipad. Look like you're working on it and then get all pissed off that it couldn't do something. Throw it on the ground and smash it to pieces. Record reactions, post on youtube.

I think some dumbass tried that with a XBOX360 on launch or something.

The guy actually does it for every console launch. He's like first in line, buys the console, goes to the middle/end of the line and smashes it in front of everybody.

He's done it for iPods, iPhones, Xbox360, PS3, Wii and others. The websites don't seem to be up anymore.

I love this idea so much it hurts. Imagine the moral dilemna every iHipster would face.
