Right now Hanley Ramirez is currently hurt, will avoid the DL, but is hurt. Casey Blake is playing above his head and Alexei Ramirez is a huge question mark. Jimmy Rollins is 2 years agos MVP winner and Evan Longoria is one of the biggest RBI machines in baseball on a team that won the pennant.

I really hope that this trade was done truthfully and there's no collusion going on.

Would you like to post those numbers here? I can do it for you if you would like. Hanley pulled his groin last night and it said he wont be going to the DL. Sure, Rollins was a MVP 2 years ago is a great statement - Ortiz was the runner up 2 years ago and he can be had for free on waivers.

Don't be sore that you offered me a trade, backed out and now trying to accuse us of cheating. I can pull up those saved IMs if you would like.

Alexei Ramirez has been highly up and highly down this year, to the point that he was benched, then given a spot in the lineup recently which he is enjoying moderate success, but he proved that he is very inconsistent, and since he is very new to baseball is no bargain. I wouldn't be surprised if someone with Alexei Ramirez's numbers could be picked up off the waiver wire at this point.

Casey Blake is playing far above his head and anyone who follows baseball would completely agree.

Regardless, The two of them do not have track records that show that they will keep it up - and I wouldn't be surprised if someone with Alexei Ramirez's numbers could be picked up off the waiver wire at this point, and Blake is no bargain.

Hanley Ramirez just got hurt and will likely avoid the DL, but why would someone buy someone who has just got injured?

Longoria was last year's ROY and has not skipped a beat since he got called up. He currently leads the league in RBI, is 11th in average and 10th in home runs.

Rollins was off to a very slow start, but is 2 years removed from an MVP season. Has a track record of stellar performance in fantasy numbers and will turn it around.


If you didn't collude then you ripped off KeithTalent who self admittedly wrote to me: "I don't even watch baseball at all. " If that's so, good job in fleecing him. It's lopsided and there's not enough people who follow the league to veto it, so congratulations, you should be proud of your accomplishment :thumbsup:

Alexi Ramirez started off slow last year as well and ended up with a very solid season. He was benched for a game or two to get his head straight - this all coming from Ozzie Guillen who is one of the quirkiest managers in baseball. He is now hitting in the #2 spot in the order and has been playing very well.

Al - you talk up all your players but then when it comes to other team's players you talk them down. "oh this guy doesn't have a good track record" "oh this guy will never keep it up". Yet players you got off of waivers are the next calling of hank aaron ie. aaron hill.

Hanley is arguably the best player in baseball. He is the #1 pick and rated #1 by everyone. He's gotten off to a slow start and still his numbers are good as he's ranked 43rd overall.

Your point with the "track record" is crap as my analogy with Ortiz puts it to rest.

edit: its the same "track record" that fails when you try and talk up Hamilton. The guy had 1 good season (last year) has been hurt a lot and has no "track record". but when we try and talk trade you talk him up about his "potential". You can't have it both ways my friend.

Oh and for the record:

Alexi Ramirez in 2008 (last year) had a .234 batting average, 2 HR, 11 Runs, 7 RBI and 2 SB through May 31.

This year he is hitting .247, 3 HR, 15 Runs, 20 RBI and 9 SB through May 27.

Even with those pitiful numbers last year he finished with .290 batting average, 21 HRs, 65 Runs, 77 RBI and 13 SBs. He is on pace to eclipse those numbers.

I've had it with this league. I don't know what the heck Tango Juliet is doing, but he has banned me from posting on the league's messageboard.

The guy is a cheater.

He has made some ridiculous trades, for example:

8/8 He gives up Nelson Cruz and Bobby Abreu and gets back Roy Halladay and Chris Carpenter

7/18 he gives up Longoria, Konerko and Kevin Gregg to get Alex Rodriguez, Nelson Cruz and Matt Cain

5/30 he gives up ALexei Ramirez, Casey Blake and Hanley Ramirez and gets back Evan Longoria and Jimmy Rollins

Not to mention that he offered me Bobby Abreu if I worked out a deal for a TiVo that I had on FS/T and I have the chat logs to prove it.

All that I said was give me my money back for the league, I don't want to be involved with cheaters, I want out of the league. He goes ahead and blocks my priviliges to post on the messageboard and to change my name. (I changed my name to Bronx Cheaters).


He called me out, I am posting here. He's a cheater and he knows it.
