A full extensive meal prepared by Ferran Adrià, as he would serve at el Bulli.
Which brings me to my next question...can they request whatever they want and is it actually delivered no matter what?
I think they try to refrain giving any substance to the prisoners that could interact with the cocktail of drugs they are given to kill them.
Although if it was Utah (Where some people can still choose firing-squad), I would say they should be able to order a drink of their choice.
Red beans and rice
Maybe some shrimp creole too

Vagina with a little blow on the side. Dying with a full stomach does really matter.
Gary Gilmore had a couple slugs of whiskey before he went to the firing squad, although that was technically against the rules. You couldn't get away with that nowadays.
Back when the Brits still had the DP they'd offer the condemned man a drink to help steady his nerves. The French also let prisoners have cognac and a smoke before they were guillotined. Sadly that's all in the past now.
Yea we need more guillotine executions these days.
Whoa boy, tough call. Maybe Oysters & Pearls from TFL to start, followed by a smallish high-quality steak of some sort (probably a strip or a ribeye, with just salt and a lot of cracked pepper, maybe a bit of butter) on the rare side of med-rare with a side of hand-made gnocchi in a butter sauce and drowning in freshly-shaved truffle. My Grandma's cheesecake for dessert. A saison to drink with the appetizer, a full-bodied quality red wine to go with the entree, and a strong Americano to go with dessert.
Oh man I'm hungry now.
KT
on PPV.
"this month on Guillotine TV we have John Gacy! watch him struggle up the ramp! find out who is more deadly Gacy or the Guillotine! who wins? YOU DOOOOO!"
then have Jim ross from WWE do the commentating.
You son of a bitch. Now I want to eat EVERYTHING IN SIGHT.
