Welcome back everyone for our 4th year of Yahoo's fantasy football!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwuG-g7qK0k

New for 2014!

Draft Budget / Keeper Values
We have reduced the draft budget from $250 to $200. In order to make the change, all players from last season have their keeper value reduced 20%.

Glenn and Imported created a spreadsheet with the updated values that can be found here

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...iC8BtVABro1rUTPoO1x4oAT8Q/edit#gid=1487526186

Roster Composition
The roster size and composition remain the same except an IR position has been added.

Buying/Selling Keepers

Selling
Every team gets one player to sell that will not count towards a 2014 keeper. If a team chooses to sell more than 1 player it will count towards their 2014 keepers. Subsequently teams are capped at 4 sales per year.

The selling team receives no more than $10 for every sale. In the event a player's keeper value is less than $10 the selling team will get back the actual price.

Example 1

Team A sells McCoy to Team B for $49
Team B has $49 subtracted from draft budget ($151)
Team A receives $10. That amount is added to its draft budget ($210)

Example 2

Team A sells Jay Cutler to Team B for $4
Team B has $4 subtracted from draft budget ($196)
Team A receives $4. That amount is added to its draft budget ($204)

Buying
The team that purchases a player will have that money deducted from their $200 draft budget. The selling/purchase price will be determined by the player's 2014 keeper tag. The purchased player will count as a keeper for the 2014 season*.

*Throwback*
* In the event that a team purchases a keeper but chooses not to select that player as a keeper due to injury, etc the purchasing team should be afforded the opportunity to return the player to the draft pool. The purchasing team would receive 50% of the purchase price back in draft cash. The team that sold the player would remain unaffected.

Bidding/Priority
Team's buying priority is based on last season's standings - worst to first. Once a player is purchased the buying team moves to the bottom of the list.

2. Ertz When I Brees

Players available for sale
Each team shall furnish list of players they wish to sell. The lists will be posted in this thread and on the yahoo league page. Team owners have complete control over whom they wish to sell. No owner shall be forced to sell a player or fear that players will be poached from their roster.

August 22 is the deadline to complete all transactions.

Refusal
For competitive reasons an owner has the right to refuse selling a player to a team. If a team is denied a player they will not lose their priority waiver buying position. As a penalty for refusing to sell, the selling team shall be docked $10 from their draft budget.

The player that was denied movement to the new team thus becomes unavailable for purchase and is returned to the draft pool.

Important Dates
Saturday August 22 - all purchases must be completed
Saturday August 23 - all keepers must be finalized
Saturday August 30 @ 8:30pm EDT - AUCTION DRAFT

I'm in for a renewal.

TJ, I'd like to see if we could do some trading for extra draft cash. Is that possible? I'm sitting on a heap of keepers ...

Yeah I don't see why that wouldn't be possible. You can sell your keepers but everyone will still be limited to only keeping 3 per team. The price would be subtracted from their draft budget and added to yours. Players cannot be sold for less than the keeper cost.

I'm not sure but I think we agreed to lower this year's draft budget from $250 to $200 but I'd have to check.

Does Yahoo have that allowed?

In cases that result in fractions do we round up or down? Or the old ".5 or above round up" system?

Allow what? Trading players pre-draft? If that is what you are asking then the answer is sort of. There isn't an option to trade players but as the commish I can assign players to a team and change the draft budget manually. So if the owners communicate here and are able to work out a trade then I can go ahead and make the changes.

Are you saying that we change all of the players values based on a $200 budget? Thats a lot of work.......

We still have 5 people yet to sign up. Below are the 2 teams that were managed by non AT members.

Would someone be able to create a list of player values like they did last year?

Do we want to convert the league to a $200 auction budget rather than the $250 we had been using? If so, then we would have to re-evualate everyone @ 80% of their value.

Do we want to trade keepers pre-draft for extra auction cash?

The season begins in 70 days so we need to get things rolling......

I don't mind dropping to $200, and I do still want to trade.

Think Imported (you rock man!) kept a list relatively up to date through last season. Maybe someone can double-check the values but probably close enough for now.

Okay, I think I got that spreadsheet updated. Only had to add like 9 more transactions from where I left off.

Edit: Pending prices of the players on the first team above.. some nice keepers available there.

At least 2 of the 3 keepers seem like pretty easy decisions to me, and you have some nice options for the third.

Who? To me, it's Julius Thomas as the only stand-out. Edelman is tricky at $39. Michael Floyd is damn tempting instead of him, and then choosing between Stacy and Ben Tate are a bitch.

I think you got a bunch of really good ones. Thomas is a no brainer at that price. Tate, Floyd, Stacy are nice values as well. The money you would save with those guys you could use it to get some really high end QBs/WRs.

If you go with Tate, Stacy and Thomas...that'll run you $11!

I need to fix that spreadsheet.. I don't think I counted straight waiver pickups the first run through. Just did the FAAB ones.

Keeping Alshon. Not sure who else.. Vernon at $19 seems like good value. Think I paid too much for DeMarco to keep him. Maybe Da'Rick if he looks good this offseason (though he's behind Wayne/Hilton for sure on the depth chart) or Fleener.
