Abortion is legal up to 24 weeks in Pennsylvania. This doctor had the audacity to perform abortions at *gasp* 26 weeks *gasp*.

Am I to believe that from a liberal perspective abortions at 24 weeks are a sacred right, but at 26 weeks they are an unspeakable evil?

I don't like to talk about it online, but think this is worth mentioning this time.

I have twin daughters that were born at 26 weeks, weighing 1 pound 10 ounces and 2 pounds 2 ounces. They were in the NICU for over 3 months, and that three months was pure hell.

Anyway, now at 10 years old you would never believe they were born that early if you were to look at them or see their school grades.

I get what you are saying in regards to the 26 weeks vs. 24 weeks comment, but for anyone to say that 26 weeks isn't viable is full of shit, I have two beautiful children that prove it everyday.

Careful, that can cut both ways. Example: Let me get this straight: Some people don't care about all of the dead babies from abortions every year, but want to throw away our second amendment rights because a minuscule percentage of firearms are used to commit murder, an act that is already illegal?

Not how I feel, but I've seen this argument from both sides and I don't see how conflating the issue, or suggesting that all Republicans or conservatives feel this way is in anyway productive or fascinating as you suggest.

Can't agree there and I'm pro abortion and stricter gun control. The difference is while gun advocates will call it a lone nut they will still be against all gun murders and violence obviously. We on the abortion side will call his methods disgusting we will still support the underlying practice.

Abortion is evil and disgusting enough when done 'legally', this is just hard to stomache what this man did, but also not completely surprising. If you make a living sucking the brains out of babies legally you can probably con yourself into believing anything is ethical.
