Our server has been doing fairly well. 64 player 24/7 Conquest. We're up to 82nd overall in the world.

The buggy server software is killing us though. The server is crashing sometimes once, often times two to three times a day.

When this happens and someone is at home they can usually get it populated again somewhat. We find about 30 players is critical mass, at which point it rapidly fills. If not, we're fortunate that we have regulars now who will login in the evening if its dead and mess about with a small player count and it fills in shortly after that.

The only servers I see maintaining a full load on 64 at all times with the crashes are ones that are behind the big dedicated gaming community websites. For us it has been a struggle to get it to this point. If they would fix the freaking crashing 64 player servers we'd be golden.

That is the beauty of BF3... being the best player on the server doesn't mean anything... There were a few times I had a great K/D ratio, one of the top players, pwning and my team still lost... and there were times that my K/D were in the .500 range or worst and my team owned the other one... I saw a few times the opposing team had 30% of their teams as Colonel ranking while I was the only one on my team above a level 35 - we still won because the other team were too busy stat padding... what team wins is if the whole team works like a team...

My K/D won't be great for at least a month or two = trying to unlock medals so using weapons/classes I'm normally not be using...so I'm pretty much cannon fodder for the time being. ;p

My K/D won't be great for at least a month or two = trying to unlock medals so using weapons/classes I'm normally not be using...so I'm pretty much cannon fodder for the time being. ;p

This is what I've been doing recently... I have a ton of guns that I just stopped using after I got 100 kills, just to get the first star. I have 3/4 service stars (working on assault), 29 weapon service stars, only the jet service star, and 13/50 medals. Some of the medals I'll probably never get, like 2 hours in the stationary weapons... Its fun though, but some weapons I can't wait to hit 100 (many of the snipers).

Yeah I'm leveling other classes/weapons and... ouch totally killing my stats, done with engineer for the most part, about half way through support not sure if I want to do sniper it's not really my thing.

You could level Recon with one of the PDWs or shotguns you've unlocked.

Not really sure what you're complaining about. What exactly did I say portraying myself as "hot shiz?" If I recall correctly, you were quite upset you couldn't kill me...so you got a tank. Maybe it was because I stabbed you in your neck. Oh, and these teams you speak of? It was 3 v 2.

If I upset you for whatever reason, sorry dude but I can't imagine how you handle the abundance of trolls in online gaming. And please don't come in here and call me a chump. It's a game.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, let's take it easy. It's a game, and the point of the game, for better or for worse, is to kill each other and have fun doing it. So let's stick to that, ok?!?

hahaha...those 3v3 or 4v4 games can be rough on the AT server...it does feel more personal when the same guy kills you over and over. I type friendly sh1t talk during these kinds of matches. I figure its all good because we were all regulars, and the next time we play on the server we will probably be teammates. Sorry if anyone gets offended! lol :biggrin:

I personally like going against some of the better players...keeps them honest. And it lets everyone know I'm really the one running things around here! hahahaha And if were on the same team I'll join them and form a death squad. One of my better games was when I squaded up with Nizley, but I like going against him too! lol

Its better than going against random people all the time.
