The GTX512 was limited edition... it will never be sold in mass quantities, G71 will replace it as the top tier Nvidia card.

that's what "we" said
and - NOW - how do you know? the superfast RAM that was [supposedly] holding nVidia back is in good supply.
Maybe the 512-GTX be nvidia's "value" [highend] card. . . .

It makes sense if you look at a possible lineup using the rumored specs of the G71.
7900 GTX = 32 pipelines
7900GT = 24 pipelines.
7900GT will simply replace the 7800512.
This is what I predicted a couple of weeks back.It makes perfect sense.It allows you 2 bad quads,and being on 90nm they should be able to clock it at 600-650,making it faster than the 7800512 and cheaper.
But this thread is about the awesome looking 1900's.Hope they release proper drivers for it right away.Initial results look good,as well as an awesome launch.Way to go ATI!

uh as much as I think AT has the best reviews, isn't this one wrong at least on the specs? 48 pixel pipelines???

Well the GTX 512 is a piece of trash if you want ot compare it to this card.

Did anyone notice something strange in the BF2 image quality section of the review? In all the nvidia shots, there is a shadow that crosses the arm and weapon of the player, however that same shadow doesn't show in any of the ati image quality shots.
