Attaching Coolermaster HSF to Geforce2 GTS?

Hi all. I recently replaced the HSF unit on my now-aging 900 T'Bird. Having an extra heatsink and all, I began to look at my options. It seemed that there would be some way to attach the old coolermaster cpu heatsink to my video card: a 32 meg Geforce2 GTS. Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions you could offer me?

Why not? A couple of years ago, I attached a old P200mmx heatsink on my Prophet DDR with thermal epoxy. Worked out really well. Of course, there's much better thermal adhesives out these days.

So all I would have to do would be to use Arctic Silver adhesive? Are there any special instructions for this? Anything I should know before trying this procedure?

Also, would I need to worry about there being too much weight pulling down on the card? The heatsink doesn't feel that heavy, but I thought I should probably ask.

Only if there is a ton of weight there. I've seen people with cpu heatsinks of video cards that had some sort of support bracket that held up the video card. But, if you put it on there and it seems to look fine, I wouldn't worry about it.
