<< I bet those K Mart insiders know this bad new way earlier than us. Couple weeks ago, I was in Kmart, which just installed some U-scan. An old man had problem to use it, and yelled for help. There were several kmart employees around, but they just kept chatting. No one came to help. The angry old man cried that he would leave if nobody came to help. Sure none of those employees would move. I did not stay long enough to see if that old man got all his stuff w/o paying. >>



This just happened to my best friends mother about 2 weeks ago. Same thing, asked for help and none came. They just stood there. Bunch of tards if you ask me, good riddance.

<< I feel sorry for those emplyees who will lose their jobs, but I can't feel sorry for this company. I gave up on Kmart over 5 years ago when it became quite routine for them to not have stock on hand for items that were advertised. This happened week in and week out and after complaining to store management (and to Troy MI HQ) and waiting for years for them to rectify their problems (the only thing they changed were CEO's about once a year) I took my business elsewhere (Walmart, Target etc.) This has to be one of the worst run US direct consumer related companies. Just my 2 cents.

Thank goodness my wife quit her job there 3 years ago(they wouldn't give her a raise). Now she's making the big bucks.

Hmmm... the one I have been to in the last 2 years is not on the list. I guess that TV and DVD player I bought on Thanksgiving morning really put them over the top.

None in Alaska. Good, cuz we don't even have a Walmart here in Fairbanks. Though I will say, our Big K is the nicest Kmart I've seen anywhere. Very clean and new.

I went into a K-mart my first time 6 months ago when my parents wanted a folding-chair special they had.. After searching the store for 45 minutes, with no one helping, I came apon two lads one telling the other that the secret to sucess was "never wearing k-mart clothing so customers didn't know he was an employee." Just as I leapt to ask for assistance, he runs into an employee's only lounge.. Wally from Dilbert couldn't have trained them better.

the only good thing about kmart is they had kathy ireland for a spoke's person---only a loser like kmart who had an edge for like 30 years would screw up like this-kmart sucks-the end.

Here's my imitation of kmart----hhmm target-walmart-etc. competition coming should I--pay upper exec's more $$$ and more bonus's,,, hire more useless executives---squander more money---sell off the profit making companies to walmart or---- expand to better stores and better employee's not $5 hour ones--hhmm..
