I have a question though, do I actually create a new SETI account (eg. serialb@TA), crunch 1 WU, then join BBR with that account?

EDIT: Nevermind, gotta learn how to read. New account is created (serialb@TA) and will join BBR upon my first completed WU. BTW, what's the user name of the new account you created for TA?

Registred members at BBR who take part in SETI have the ability to get a spinning globe trinket next to their name. Some of the TeAm members here frequent our forum and were prohibited from getting the globe since they don't belong to the BBR SETI team. This is an effort to give them a chance to crunch 1 WU and become a member of the team AND get the globe trinket. Not that big a deal, but it is a nice thing to have. In the process, I repay the WU crunched so said TeAm member does not help "the enemy" catch up and stomp y'all

I am not actually doing it for the globe, I am doing it as a salute to the friendship we have developed as teams I think we are a rare case of competitors who have become strong friends

Seti crunchers on BBR who are members of Team Starfire and have crunched at least 1 wu, get a spinning globe by their name Starfire spinning globe

Now we have several frequent visitors from TA, who are registered at BBR, but while we know they crunch, can't get a globe without joining the our team and crunching 1 wu. So, the idea is an exchange, not to put TA behind by this handful of wu's, that Starfire members would likewise join TA and crunch offsetting wu's.

That's all it is--a chance to get fellow crunchers the "badge" when they're on our site, while squelching any possible arguments that they're "aiding and abetting."

We may be rival teams, but we're all in it for the science project first!
