It was so cold here in upstate NY the past few days. Below 50° at night.

I normally keep my windows open overnight to get the nice cool air in, then close them and blinds before it gets hot. I could feel it was already hot at like 6 AM today so I checked the weather and seen 92° for the next couple days!

WTF?

It's fine in my apartment though with central A/C.

TBH i haven't even noticed. I've been covering the night shift at work for the past 10 days (11-7) and i sleep all day, its in the 70s when i leave for work and in the 60s when i come home

Upstate NY here too (there are a lot of us in this thread) and it's supposed to hit 94 here today, so it will be hot but not horrible. Last night they were saying it's going to feel like 105. I hope that's not the case, since I do need to be outside for a bit today. Record high for my area for today is 95 (1999).

We have a week old baby, so I'm cooling the house to a comfortable 76. I'm so happy we bought a house with central air, even if only for a couple weeks a year.

Man, it was in the mid 60s here in San Diego this morning and overcast all day. I doubt it ever got warmer than the low 70s. Some sun would have been nice actually.

i just got back from san diego last night and i will say i was not impressed with the weather that everyone is hyping up.

granted, it was what everyone said was the 'june gloom' and the hurricane that hit mexico and texas supposedly brought in some of the not-so-usual weather, but still a lot more sun last week would have been a lot nicer.

that said, the second i stepped out of the airport yesterday at 9pm it was like instant sweat because of the humidity.

There is this cool phenomenon that happens in some parts of the world. It is called snow. You should research it.

It's kind of like if you hit 0 in your neck of the woods, it would probably hit the news as kind of a big deal. Whereas upstate New York 0 is a heat wave in the winter.

lol I'm from Texas but in way upstate New York (Fort Drum) visiting my sister in law and niece and people are talking about the "killer heat wave". It's hilarious.



She does have central air so that is nice, however I've been outside like 4 hours a day. It's wonderful.

Is it humid in Texas?

If it's 100 degrees here but not humid, it feels no different than some 80 degree days.
