it is NOT cool for you to charge $3.00 for the crazy bread/sauce combo. the sauce container is always only half full and not all breadsticks are evenly sized. it was overpriced at $1.89 before and now its just ridiculous.

i have been a faithful customer for 26 years and now plan to boycott eating your pizza until you reduce those prices.

regards,
SE

EDIT: 9/1/14: they raised the price to $3.99.

I love their bread - when it's done right. Sometimes there just isn't enough cheese sprinkle on there.

Why are you posting this here? Why not write a letter to the CEO and send it via certified mail. State your complaints and the solutions to get you back in the door.

Or a first priority telegram.

When I was a kid and we wen't there they had a memory game you'd put a quarter to play in the waiting room, and based on your score you could get food rewards. I'd almost always end up leaving with some free crazy bread.

Did try the deepdish pizza finally, wow it's pretty bad.

Former LC manager here. I spent 6 years in the trenches there.

Let me give you a quick insight on how the pricing at those kinds of places works: The bread has a food cost of roughly $.20, the sauce maybe another $.20. However with the new pricing for their pizzas, their food cost is through the roof. When I was there you wanted labor cost under 30% and food cost at around 35%. But the new pricing doesn't allow for that. Your food cost is going to be up near 60% for the pizza and labor cost will be probably remain about the same. The only way possible is to upcharge on the add on stuff.

So its pretty easy to get your old pricing back: Have everyone stop buying the $5 pizzas and have them start ordering the $10 ones. In a year or two, you will have your cheap bread back.

I was also a LC employee and manager. I saw them going from 10oz of cheese on a large pizza to 7oz.

The bread sticks use to be a equal to medium pizza to being a small pizza. The problem is the person in the back is lazy and did not pull the pizza dough into a rectangle before cutting it.

We used to have one here, and it was probably one of the best pizzas in town. Eventually they closed, everyone was kinda stumped.

I hate how pizza chains charge extra for sauce though. It should be part of the meal. Like if you go to McDonald's you can ask for as many extra sauces, ketchup packets etc as you want. Well I imagine there is an unofficial limit, they probably wont give you 20 of em.

I haven't had little caesars in several years. Use to have it in college sometimes because it was cheap and fast, but yeah, it's lowest of the low in terms of quality.

How is it possible to live in someplace remote enough to willingly go to Little Caesars yet be large enough to have one? Is a puzzle.

They know people in Hondas don't tip.

That said my Little Caesars sucks never prepared and when they cook a specialty pizza chances are they burn it or forgot everything... I just buy real pizza most of the time. Occasionally like tonight we have Tombstones, but my girl and I ate out. Usually it's DiGiorno at 2 for $10 stocked up.

If they always had pepperoni and cheese really "Hot and Ready" all the time, they'd be guaranteed 4 pizzas and wings and bread sales every Friday night. It would keep the kids happy and quiet.

No you cant ask for extra sauces really.

You are Canadian, you don't get out much.

"Hi, can you throw in a couple extra BBQ sauces with that, I find 1 is not enough, oh and a handfull of ketchup and vinegar packets"
"Sure" *drops a couple extras in the bag*

It works. It's not that hard. I don't know WTF this has to do with going out.

Heck, you can walk into a McDonald's or any fast food places and grab a few and walk out. Why you'd do that, I don't know, but you can. nobody is going to say anything. Now don't show up and fill a grocery bag... then they might say something.

Domino's still gives it a good run for the money in the shitty pizza-like bread category.

Have you mentioned the issue to the store regarding the sauce?

Until you do, they will not pay attention that a customer is getting shorted and notices.

Every LC I've had has odd ball shaped breadsticks. It's crap pizza for cheap, not sure what else you'd expect. We get it every once in a while when we don't feel like cooking after work, makes the kids happy. Sometimes cheap and fast beats good.

You have to be kidding. I can't imagine worse prepared pizza than LC. It is absolute bottom of the barrel stuff. They all died around where I live. No one was stumped.
