I don't think ecc2 is even officially launched yet.... and I've heard they will reset the stats when they officially launch the project... if anyone knows different, pipe in and correct me

They had a problem with the stats server and they are redoing it, but the project is a go according to Jay Berg.

I think they are working frantically to try to get the stats back up. Apparently there was a fire somewhere in Europe where the old stats server was located. The data and everything was okay, but they had to move it. In the process they decided to make some changes so that is what is taking the time.

Crazy, YHPM on the last update I have (AFAIK) for Folding@Home (info on RAM and processor requirements). If all projects would post these in their sections, it would be cool (IMHO).

Oh BTW - Team Anandtech now(as of a few days ago) has a DPAD(Distributed Particle Accelerator Design) Team. A guy at work mentioned it to me so I tossed it on a machine. We're #22 (out of 26 ) in the world!

This is what the Project's Scientific Aims are:
The experiment is called the Neutrino Factory, scheduled for construction some time around 2015. Its primary aim is to fire beams of neutrinos (fundamental particles) through the Earth's interior to detector stations on different continents. They're doing this to measure whether they change type en route (there are 3 types of neutrino) and data from this in turn will allow them to determine the neutrino's mass (and whether it even has mass).
The program is currently in the simulation phase of the front end design.

Uh, what have I not updated yet for the FAH listing (aside from that website I was making which is partially complete but not all the way yet)? LMK so I can get whatever it is done ASAP.
