I've worked with many Canadians here in the DFW area. Among others, I worked for an oil field logging services company for two years that was home based in Edmonton.
Most that I've meet have been really nice and very friendly, but the couple of exceptions where truly arrogant flaming aholes.

Canadians are now so common in Texas that there's now a Canadian hunting season, limit 2, minimum 150 lbs., no child-bearing females (of course).

I see some BC plates every once in a while and met a native Canadian who was a friend of friend once several years ago. But they are few and far between.

Alaska and especially Hawaii plates are very rare, since were on the topic.

Now, do you have Mexicans in Canada, yet? Besides the people, I see at least one Mexican State plate a day on the road, sometimes two or three.

Srsly? When I was in IL (Peoria) a while back they were surprised to see a Canadian ... and a friend's cousin who came up to Detroit from OH wouldn't stop bothering me to say Aboot, Eh, and inspecting the Monopoly money in my wallet. But she was hot enough to get away with it.
