All power supplies are not created equal. It depends a lot on the rating of the +12 volt.

Quite true. I am going to take a look at this PSU, but I will likely use an old 250W Antec over it. I expect more from the old small Antec than this PSU.

it looks ok from a distance.. but the build quality is not very good. ppl who are afraid of sharp edges might not like this.

the funky dodad stuff on top is the power button and reset button. there are none on the front :Q

They have another Kingmax case which is $17.99 with free shipping. Looks a little more flashy than the plain $15.99 model, and it is a little smaller, which is what I want.

The $5.49 Coolermaster heatsink/fans are a good deal with free shipping. Relatively quiet and come with a better than usual thermal compound on the base. Ordered three for just over $16 and they arrived two days later via Airborne Express. These are handy to have available in case you find really hot deals on slower AMD chips. There are also generic wheel mouse for like $2.99 with free shipping. These might or might not be OK. I've got generic Genica wheel mice for the price and they were surprisingly good, lasting well over a year and sometimes more.

I got mine a few minutes ago. I wouldnt say it is portable. The handle is functional.... The metal is so thin and the case is so poorly designed that I dont think it would stand multiple trips to LAN parties and stuff. The case looks decent from the front, but up close it has uneven edges and cheap plastic. The power supply isn't very loud, but it weighs less than half of a 250W Antec I have sitting here. The inside of the PSU looks almost empty in comparison. All in all it isn't that bad of a case. I guess it is worth the $25 I paid, but I cant help think I should have spent another couple bucks and got another Antec case that would last many years.

Installed my old abit kt-7 raid mobo and 700mghz AMD tbird and can't get it to work!

the PSU don't even run...WTF?

is it the cheap PSU?

The PSU should at least start up, even if it is overloaded. Most likely you got a dud.

check to make sure your mobo isnt grounding it out....but if your too lazy to do that go to comp ussr and get a power supply tester for 10$ test it and then return it

i had one of the 3 power supplies crap on me but it was a bsssssszzzzzzrrrzzzzzz POP! then the smell.....still in progress on a rma for it well see how it goes

Don't even do that. Just grab a paperclip and stick it in connecting the green wire to any of the black ones, then flip the switch and if it works, you will see/hear/feel the fan(s) going.

I bought two of this case for $19.99 from Ebuyer, I am building a couple of extra computers for fun (linux, network experiments, games, etc).

Here is some of the PS info, its called a Maxima PS and list 10A on the +12V rail, not great.

The shipping was free, and was sent Airborne!. I was shocked when I received both cases within 36 hours after I ordered them, and I am in Sacramento (Go Kings!). The site only promises 10-12 days with free shipping, but it seems they are more generous probably due to the holidays.

The cases are great for the price, the edges are not sharp, and it has front USB included. They look pretty good too, dark metallic grey and silver. The metal is thin, but when all buttoned up the case seems sturdy enough. I have not put it together yet but I plan to only run the basic stuff at stock speeds, I will update this when I am done with finals and have it put together.

Overall the case looks good, has the necessities, and for $19 bucks and free Airborne shipping it cannot be beat even if I have to get another PS. I will try this out and update this post when it is working.

For this price, the case and a can of krylon is cheaper.
