ATX P4 and Athlon PS?

Hi all,

I need a little education. I am looking at a palo alto products case (like dell and micron cases) w/ 300W P4 power supply. You can get any PS you want. This case is going to be for my next system. It might be and Athlon4 or maybe a P4, or I may decide to use it for my current P3. My question is this, Is the P4 power supply also backwards compatible with P3 stuff? I figure you just don't use the extra 12v connector the P4 requires if you want to use it with the P3. Will this same PS also work with the Athlon4 or other Athlon's. Sorry for the long post guys, but I am trying to kinda future proof (so-to-speak) my case purchase.

yep you can use it on any case, cause all it does is have a extra connector for the P4 mainboard along withthe ATX connecton
