<< Just wondering... are you dissatisfied with the PS2? >>
It's all about making a little extra money, man. I camped out with a friend at my Best Buy store all night for the PS2 (unfortunately, I didn't have the cash at the time; but I really wanted one BAD). With a bit of social engineering, he ended up obtaining 3 tickets and purchasing 3 of them (that punk). He kept one for himself and he's hoping the other two make him some loot on E-Bay. He said if one of them sells well he might consider selling me the other one for like $300, but I'm not holding my breath. It's just sickening how people can all of a sudden forget about their friends when money is involved
Well, according to the agreement that Sony has with retailers, more units will be shipped to those stores who sell the most accessories (games, controllers, memory cards, etc.) along with PS2's. Makes sense, since there's NO markup on the unit, at least where I work. Just don't go crazy and spend over $400 on one; you'll just be disappointed a year later when the stupid thing will sell for something like $149 (happens to every console).
