Audigy 2 driver problems

I bought an audigy 2 value and installed it a while back. Since I reformatted it however I have not been able to install drivers for it. When I go to the site and download the driver, as I run it it says that I dont have that hardware in my system, yet the autoupdate feature on their site detects my card. What amd I doing wrong?

I don't know if this will help at all, but maybe you should take out the card (physically) and then restart and make sure all the drivers are uninstalled.

Then shutdown and reinstall the card. Boot up again and then maybe it will detect the card as being installed.

It might work. It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong now though...

Have you tried using the drivers from the CD? I'm not sure they have the full drivers on the webpage.

They don't. You need to install from the CD drivers first, and then update with the ones from Creative's sites.

If you've lost the CD, here's a work-around.
