Hmmm... I managed to get the pricematch deal and use the coupon code but the CSR who did the pricematch included the minimum $15 Compuplus would've charged for shipping. Mine came out to $155.09 to the door (including free shipping and tax). Not as good as some of you got but a decent deal I guess...

Sigh I don't know how you guys do it guess I have crap luck. Second time I've called now and nothing after 20 mins of hassel guess I shouldn't be so poliete so they can't just shrug me off. I call up tell em I want to order the card give item number etc and say I want to price match it first so I give her newegg's info price shipping is free etc. She goes off takes 5-10mins comes back tells me to keep waiting she has to verify somthing about their shipping policy ! Comes back tells me to keep waiting another 5 mins go by.. finnaly she comes on and tells me she can't pricematch to newegg cause of some shipping thing I point out its free shipping your websites free shipping too wtf is the problem she shrugs me off and tells me some product specialst isn't in so she can't do it. Now I'm told to call in when this product specialist is in (my working hours where I have limited phone accses) Sigh...

I have a question. Do I have to mention PM before I give them my credit info or do I have to PM after I placed an order to get 110% PM?
I thought Staples no longer PM w/ internet stores.. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Tell them what Item you want to buy, and then tell them you want to do a PM, They will ask you to who ..you tell them to who ever.......@ what price ......they then put you on hold to verify the price YOU quoted them as the competetor has.....they PM you the price.... then say you would like to use a coupon .....they ask for the code ..give it ............then the final price will be ..............they tell you what it is and ask how you want to pay for it VISA ect.

Why woudnt they...? On what grounds..........They have to give you in store credit!!!

they said no receipt no exchange. the best buy up here did the same thing to me before when i tried to exchange a videocard.

Go back to another CUSSR and just say you want to return this Item you dont' have a recipt........Tell them it was bought for you and it's not what you want...........Ask them what there return policy is..............They will then say we can only offer you in store credit .say fine .......Then go pick up a EX ...and pay the diffrence.......

There return Policy states unopend merch. can be returned with out a recipt only by in Store Credit...... If they hassel you ask for a Manager....and explain it was a gift that you really only wanted a diffrent version.......They should allow you to do so........Good Luck ...........I wouldn't go back to the same one Though.........I've never hered them saying *NO* we won't take something back.....what the *uck CUSSR :l

well, i got my audigy 2 plat. ex, had to pay an extra 54bucks, but well worth it. so thanks mr bomb. i think what has been happening was that i just walked in there looking scrubby so thats why they wouldn't let me exchange it. so i had to call and talk to a manager before i went in to confirm that they would let me exchange it. hmm now how the heck do i use this thing

What's the difference between the Platinum and the EX?

I believe the Ex is for "External." So instead of a live drive in a 5 1/4" slot you have an external encasement for it.

hey cherry, you into recording music? i want to do guitar recording where i can play a rhtyhm piece then add my own riff and solos. which was my main reason for getting the ex. do you know of a good software to do it? if you know then maybe i can pm you or something so i can wise up. thanks ciao fellow partakers
